THE ARGAŅA FAMILY AGREE WITH US
Some months ago, the journalistic investigation, taken
ahead by the Argentinean journalist Alberto Avila, appeared
in scene showing us: first the irregularities in the cause
of the case for the death of the Vice-president from the
Paraguay, Dr. Luis María Argaña, and in second
place the official documentation and the tests that it didn't
exist any armed movement in the week of April 23RD , 1996
neither an attempt of coup d’etat against the government
of Eng. Juan Carlos Wasmosy, lawsuits that, as know by everybody
know, they are sought to be atributed to Gen. Lino Cesar
Oviedo.
In those days Avila manifested that the homicide of Dr.
Argaña was a plot to overthrow the constitutional
government and to take off every political opponents, hard
reef for those who sought to appropriate of the power in
Paraguay (stroesnerists; wasmosists and other stuffs) and
that they couldn’t ever achieve it though the democratic
road. Although, the journalist added, "the homicide
of Dr. Argaña, goes in route to becoming a case as
that one of JFK (John Fitzgerald Kennedy), obviously saving
the distances and some peculiar characteristics of both".
These declarations were taken at that time, by the relatives
of Argaña (family and politics), as the biggest journalistic
aberration of the last years and mainly like a maneuver
of diffusion of oviedist propaganda. They also affirmed,
that the physical authors had already been identified and
they were detained, emphasizing that the moral author of
the crime was Lino Cesar Oviedo. Note how they will be those
things in the judicial summary that those who had been identified
as physical authors of the great homicide they are all in
freedom and as if this wasn’t too much, last week
the Supreme Court of Justice has ordered to change the Judge
in charge of the lawsuit- Thus therefore facts, nowadays,
absolutely anything has coherence in the official investigation
of the facts, without looking if actions and investigations
are adjusted into law at the process.-
But being made echo of popular wisdom that it says: "the
fish through his mouth it dies", they appeared declarations
made by that who seeks to be the future candidate to the
Vice presidency of Paraguay, Félix Argaña,
one of the children of missing Dr. Argaña. In those
words he recognizes that truthfully his father's death can
become a case as that of JFK, adding with apparent prejudice
"many years will happen until it could be demonstrated
that Oviedo was the murderer.".-
Félix Argaña puts a golden fastener of gold
in his declarations to the press with a real collection
sentence: "I am a follower of Stroessner"... ...
Never better apply that cane of Ripley: "It is true,
although you don't believe it"...
Today, more than ever, we wonder (after such declarations),
Paraguayans, will they have been able to reconcile their
sleep? ...
