The
Court remove the coroner Llano for low performance
Yesterday, the Supreme Court’s
Superintendency remove the coroner Jose Maria Llano, as irregularities
were found in his professional practice as auxiliary of justice.
According to the reasons the
superintendent of justice resolution, Modesto Elizeche, José María Llano,
in two years work carried out two autopsies and he emitted 13 verdicts
of the 1.900 cases that he received in this whole time. –
Llano was denounced for almost
majority the judges of the criminal jurisdiction who accused him of
getting used to arrive late to the places where there are fatal victims
and that he never carries out a meticulous work, according to the magistrates.
In 1997, according to the
accusation and verifications that the superintendent Elizeche carried
out, Llano signed only 3 verdicts of a total of 1.076 cases that were
required by the judges of the Crime.
It was also proved that the
coroner Llano, didn't attend most of the inspections where his presence
was requested, according to the accusation.
Suspensions
The maximum tribunal of justice
also suspended of its functions for 60 days the public officials of
the Public Registry, María Cartasso and Celedonia Martinez, accused
of carrying out anomalies in the expedition of a certificate of conditions
of domain of a farm in Trinidad, when being omitted in the respective
report the existence of a seizure.
Another suspension of the
Supreme Court affected the official of justice Juan Carlos Ruffinelli,
accused of abuse of authority, extortion, blackmail and intentional
damage when visiting a person that was processing a trial with the intention
of taking advantage of its situation, according to the accusation.
The maximum tribunal suspended
equally in its functions for 30 days to the lawyer Norma Beatríz Zelaya,
accused of making disappear a leaf of a file and then returned it back
without having noticed to the secretary of the court. -
