OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF THE MOVEMENT

NATIONAL UNION OF ETHICS COLORADOS (UNACE)

Assisting to the particular political situation that it is passing through the Republic of Paraguay and the very special situation of the glorious Republican National Association, COLORADO PARTY, the Movement National Union of Ethics Colorados (UNACE) it communicates to all Departmental, Distrital and Subdistritales leaders and Adherents; to the coreligionaries of the Great Colorado Party, as well as to the National and International Community as much as it continues:

1° The Movement National Union of Ethics Colorados (UNACE) it ignores Mr. LUIS GONZÁLEZ MACCHI, as President of the Republic of Paraguay, assisting that only through a popular, free, secrete and direct vote, it can be consent to the first magistracy of the nation and any judicial resolution that could exist can replace the supreme and inviolable right that has people of choosing those who will direct the destination of their homeland. Mr. LUIS GONZALEZ MACCHI is not the Constitutional President of Paraguay, owning at least, for a minimum of personal dignity and respect to the Paraguayan people, to stop to usurping such a discharge magistracy and to allow calling to national elections for President and Vice-president of the Republic of Paraguay.

2° The Board of Government of the Republican National Association, Colorado Party, it is acephalous, assisting to that the period of the previous Directive Commission - that today it seeks perpetuate in that position - it has expired at April 28th , 1999, without so far till present, calling to elections for new authorities. Those that at the moment seek to be erected as authorities of our glorious Colorado Party , they still being vulgar usurpers of positions that lack genuineness, and their acts, any of them, they are null of absolute and consequently nonexistent nullity.

3° The Tribunal of Behavior, fingered in favor for those who illegal and illegitimately they usurped the positions of the Board of Government of the Republican National Association, Colorado Party, they lack of any moral authority and of genuineness to judge meritorious coreligionaries, and less to apply them any sanctions, or to suspend or to expel them. The resolutions taken by the Tribunal of Behavior fingered in favor by those who usurped the positions in the Colorado Party have any validity, without producing any effect, they doesn't force any coreligionary and they are only useful as historical precedent of the persecution made by a colorado against another colorado.

4° By the same way, the Electoral Tribunal of the Party, ell managed by those who usurped the directive positions in the A.N.R., it lacks of any imperium, of any genuineness, to summon into internal elections of the Colorado Party; the convocation carried out doesn't have validity, it is an illegal convocation, ravischer of the Statutes of the Party, the Electoral Law and the National Constitution. They won't be those born in the illegality who will be able to move the great mass of colorado patriots.

Therefore, faithful to the republican and democratic principles, non surrendering in the fight against corruption, prepotency, authoritarianism, and lie; the Movement Colorado National Union of Ethics Colorados (UNACE) it has solved:

  1. to URGE in a categorical and energetic way to Mr. LUIS GONZÁLEZ MACCHI to stop in usurping the highest position that exists in this country: President of the Republic, and through that way to make possible that people, in full exercise of their civil and political rights, could choose in the urns to the authorities, President and Vice-president of the Republic, and to be guided the destination of our suffering one and actually famished Paraguayan people.

  2. to IGNORE Mr. BADER RACHID LICHI as President of the Republican National Association, Colorado Party; to all their members in the Directive Commission which they says to preside over, as well as the auxiliary organisms fingered by them, such as the Electoral Tribunal Electoral of the Party, and the Tribunal of Behavior.

  3. to GIVE OUR SOLIDARITY to the wrongly defamed and reviled coreligionaries with supposed sanctions, suspensions and expulsions, decreed by the fingered, illegitimate and illegal Tribunal of Behavior of the Party, as well as to support them in all and each one of the actions that they could take in order to claim for their legitimate and constitutional rights.

  4. NOT TO ANSWER TO THE CONVOCATION TO INTERNAL ELECTIONS TO ELECT CANDIDATES TO THE VICEPRESIDENCY carried out by the spurious, fingered and illegal Electoral Tribunal Electoral of the Party, because it lacks attributions to carry out such a convocation to be a nonexistent organism who lack of any attribute to constitute the Directive Commission, to usurp this positions, and lesser to be entitled to nominate auxiliary organisms of the Board of Government of the Great Colorado Party as it is it the Electoral Tribunal of the Party. The UNACE WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THOSE SUPPOSED INTERNAL ELECTIONS OF THE COLORADO PARTY, CONVOKED AT APRIL 9th 2000; THE UNACE WON'T INTRODUCE ANY CANDIDATE.

  5. The Movement NATIONAL UNION OF ETHICSCOLORADOS, it won't support express, neither tacitly to any coreligionary that would present himself to the convocation to internal elections to legitimate an illegitimate Electoral Tribunal Electoral of the Party created by those who usurp positions inthe party and that pursue tenacious and primitively to the coreligionaries. NDAIPORI APOYO NI PONCHO GUYPE, NI MESA GUYPE, NI ãEÍE MBEG EPE LO MITŒ. Thatmeans, in Guarani Language:

  6. to PROPOSE to the leaders and adherent of UNACE, as well as to the other colorado coreligionaries not to move away from the principists, democratic and republican ideals that Gen. BERNARDINO CABALLERO bequeathed us; to not ceasing in the fight for justice and the greatness of the immortal Colorado Party. It won't be with usurpers, with corrupts, with immorality that it will builded the homeland that we owe to our children and to the whole Paraguayan people; it will be with our value, with our conviction as colorados, and with the certainty that we are fighting for the justice and for the freedom. A country without justice will NEVER BE FREE.
